Squid Shock Studios Released Major Fixes
New patches issues on Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch
August 28, 2024 Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus, the game inspired by Japanese Folklore released their first patches for console to fix wide range of issues and bugs. The fixes solved major bugs, simple glitches from PlayStation, Xbox, Switch to sync with PC version. It is the first game of Squid Shock Studios.
Players take control of Bo,a fox spirit that was created from a celestial blossom in the the heavens, in Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, as she sets out to fulfill an old prophecy. As they progress through their journey, players can modify their staff, gaining access to new, harsh skills for both fighting and moving around.
Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is unique in that it allows you to summon daruma, aka strong allies, during battle. These allies can be improved as the game progresses. Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus was well-received by critics after its release, who praised its combat, exploration, and art direction.
PlayStation and Switch v1.1.1
The most recent patch adds a number of significant improvements, such as greater control through improved analog stick inputs, smoother animation for Jorogumo’s “Bite Collider,” and the addition of dotted lines to the map to indicate room connections. Fixed bugs include the hurtbox that remained on Jorogumo’s head and a bug that broke the game in stores that sold Omamori Straps. In addition, players will notice that the Providence Omamori effects have been adjusted, and the map icons have been updated. The grapple “field of view” has also been improved for improved targeting.
Xbox 1.1.2
With the use of a scene change trigger, players can now escape the Sakura Shogun anteroom without needing to activate quick travel, resolving a significant bug that previously prevented them from doing so. Other updates include removing an incorrect sprite sheet, fixing a dialogue glitch that affects Dragon Daichi, and fixing a bug that causes jump resets while in the air.
