GTA 6 may need about 210 GB of storage on PS5. The figure comes from the data-mining account PlayStation Game Size, which posted it on October 27, and Insider Gaming says it can corroborate the number. Rockstar has not confirmed it.
What the Report Says
- The 210 GB figure is for the Standard Edition on PS5.
- No size has been reported for the Ultimate Edition or for Xbox Series X|S.
- The same post lists midnight as the release time on November 19.
How Big Is 210 GB?
It is nearly double Red Dead Redemption 2, which comes in at about 120 GB according to one report. It is still not the biggest game on console: several Call of Duty games and ARK with all its DLC are larger. And as Kotaku points out, the final number could change by launch day, since a day-one patch may add more
What to Do Now
- Check your free space today, and move or delete games you no longer play.
- Plan to pre-load on November 12, which gives you a week before the game unlocks.
- Follow our GTA 6 hub, where we will update the size as soon as Rockstar confirms it: https://thegamingview.com/gta-6/
Our note
This number is a report based on PlayStation Store data, and Rockstar has not confirmed it.
