IGDC 2026: India’s Game Developer Conference in Chennai
The 18th edition runs until October 31, with public play days at the end

The India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) is happening for the 18th time, from October 28 to 31 at the Chennai Trade Centre. The business conference ran on October 28 and 29. The public part, called IGDC Playground, runs on October 30 and 31.
What to Expect
Organizers expect more than 10,000 attendees and over 90 speakers. The focus is on indie game development, with sessions, awards and networking.
Investor and Publisher Meetings
A program called Investor-Publisher Connect has 32 participating organizations so far. They include global publishers Devolver Digital, Headup, Voodoo, Miniclip and Krafton, Indian companies Nazara Technologies and Felicity Games, and investors such as Makers Fund and Lumikai.
Why It Matters
The Game Developer Association of India says the country has more than 550 million gamers, and projects the sector to reach $2.4 billion in revenue by 2029. IGDC is where Indian studios meet the publishers and investors who can help them grow.
