A new one-minute trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis arrived over the weekend, shown at the TR30 event, also called Tomb Raider Day, in Derby, England. The game is a remake of the first Tomb Raider from 1996, and it was first announced in December 2025.
What the Trailer Shows
Quick cuts of Lara Croft exploring tombs, with short moments of combat, puzzle solving and acrobatics. It revisits Peru, Greece, Egypt and Atlantis, and it confirms the Golden Lara easter egg from the original game.
Release Date and Editions
The game launches on February 12, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC through Steam and Switch 2. There are three editions, and the Deluxe and Collector’s editions give 48 hours of early access.
Who Is Making It
Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog are developing the game, and Amazon Games is the publisher. Generative AI was used in development, which has drawn criticism from some players.
