On June 6, 2025, at 6 PM PDT, IO Interactive hosted its inaugural IOI SHOWCASE, at Los Angeles, California a high‑profile live-streamed event that brought big announcements and exclusive reveals to fans worldwide. The event hosted simultaneously across YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok, the showcase featured updates on Hitman: World of Assassination, a debut trailer for 007 First Light, the release of MindsEye on June 10, co-op and board game reveals, and more marking a important moment in IOI’s 25‑year journey
Before the event begins a short interview with David Bateson AKA Agent 47 where he shared his experience and best memories of 25 years of recording his character as Agent 47.
Hitman World of Assassination
CEO of IO Interactive Hakan Abrak mentioned 25th anniversary of Hitman: World of Assassination which gives thousands of hours of fun for a single player game, he also point out Hitman reached new milestone 80 million players in the world of assassination, 25 million units sold. After that Christian Elverdam Chief Creative Officer discussed about the level created at high stake location in Paris for a classic international spy thriller and today IO Interactive making a crossover between Hitman and James Bond. IO Interactve introduced iconic villain Le Chiffre as an elusive target perfect for Hitman, and mention they are filling proud to team up with Mads Mikkelsen AKA Le Chiffre.
What's next for Hitman?
Hitman is expanding in multiple new platforms such as Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation VR2, and now game is running natively on the iOS. IO Interactive partnering with Mood Publishing to bring Hitman in completely new format. Kasper Mouritzen Head of Publishing in Mood explains that they are specialize in making board games and they are excited to team up with IO Interactive and bring the dream project Hitman The Board Game later this year.
Hitman is now available on PC, Console, VR, Mobile and Board Game.
Chief Development Officer Veronique Lallier added that two new elusive targets with all new different challenges with twist are coming in World of Assassination. Gamers can play one level in this fall and another one in the winter.
And soon you will enjoy Hitman in Co-op mode as well with two new playable characters Stone and Knight.

MindsEye
